Legs-Up-the-Wall Pose

Legs-Up-the-Wall Pose is a wonderful pose that I incorporate into most of my Restorative Yoga Classes.

When you feel like life is throwing you a curve ball or you feel overwhelmed, try this pose. Simply roll out your yoga mat next to a wall. Start by laying on your side and getting your bum as close to the wall as you can, then slowly roll over onto your back and bring your feet up the wall. You may need to shimmy your bum closer to the wall once your legs are in the air.

Relieves lower back pain.
Calms your mind.
Boosts circulation.
