No time for yoga? Try this!

Don't let life keep you from rolling out your yoga mat. This picture is my reality. I'm a mom to two boys and a business's hard for me to find the time to roll out my yoga mat on a daily basis. What has changed for me is that I let go of the ideal environment. Yes it would be lovely to practice yoga without anyone around, a quiet serene setting where I can truly go within myself and focus on my practice. But that is not a daily reality!

I wasted a lot of time waiting for the perfect moment to practice yoga and now I practice when it works for me and my family. Sometimes that is in the morning after I drop the kids off at school and other days it's when my youngest son is doing his online homework and I roll out the mat next to him so I can be there to answer any questions.

Let go of having the perfect setting to practice yoga…. just practice! Roll out your mat in the hallway while your kids entertain themselves in the bath, practice yoga in the grassy field while you wait for your son's soccer practice to end. The important thing is to practice. Your yoga practice doesn't have to be an hour long, try to carve out twenty minutes everyday. Devote time for you and your body…you deserve it!
